This next post is reeeeeaaaaallly angsty. Read at your own risk.
Good evening. (Or perhaps morning)
I decided that it is about time I tell you a little about myself in this entry.
I won't go to far in depth but, I will give some details.
For a while now, I have been quite jealous of couples kissing, holding hands in front of me and in such places like the hallways in school. I suppose that it's normal to feel this way, and it's not a big deal. Although, there is one very particular reason why this makes me more jealous then others.
I have never had a first kiss.
I have never kissed a girl.
Now I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I think it's a little odd.
I am almost 19 and I have never kissed.
Why? Perhaps it is because I am very, very shy. Maybe I'm not a guy that girls would want to kiss. Maybe I haven't known a girl long enough to get to that point. Maybe I am really shy.
The reason may actually be because of my shyness towards girls. I do not know where exactly this shyness came about but I'm thinking that it's probably the reason why. I have never been around girls that often. In fact, I had my first female friend when I was 14. I have never hung out with girls at school or anything before this point. I used to be terrified of girls through out my elementary school days. Luckily, that's not the case now in high school.
I know 13 year olds and younger who have kissed and it annoys me. Why can't they wait until they are older? Sheesh. Seeing or even hearing about people kiss in general makes me feel a little...bleh. Well, I guess I realized one thing: I haven't been motivated enough to actually kiss a girl.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I don't want to kiss- I'm saying that it's not a big deal at all.
It is not a priority. The time will come but, until then: Please, no kissing in front of me, thanks.
